Immanuel Lutheran Church was established in the 1870's by German immigrants in Pflugerville, TX. It has grown with the community for over 130 years and even survived a fire that destroyed the original building during the Great Depression.
As the congregation looked to grow in the 21st century, they sought a mark that represented their community and beliefs. Inspired by their iconic building, the mark also hints at the church's antique stained glass windows and their focus on the pieces and people that come together to create the congregation.
I worked with the church council to create a system of marks that would work for both the church and their day school program.
